Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Peopleeeee!!!!!

Sorry for not updating this, but I wen to Greece 5 days!! Yeahh!!

I arrived yesterday, and today I went to school already xD And here I am now, updating this so that you don't feel like I have disappeared. you will tell me: ''not that i really care if you are here or not'', but anyway, just to let you know.

So my trip to Greece was amazing, but I'm really, really tired. I saw the Parthenon(it is huge!! You can't imagine how much!!), the Acropolis and the temple of Athena Niké. I saw Socrates' prison, and a monument(I don't remember the name) on the Muse's hill. i went to Salamina(the nearest island to Athenas, about 40 minutes by ferry) and on Athens I also saw the Temple of Zeu, which had 104 columns but now it only has 16(huge columns) left, and the old Olympic Stadium.

What really impressed me was seeing dogs everywhere you walked. how many could have I seen in 5 days? Maybe like 15 moreless on the street? Yeah, I think so. Talking about animals, the day I arrived I went to a restaurant to have dinner, and a cute little kitty was looking at me and meowing to me. It was adorable!! But if I had given him some food, he would had follow me everywhere! Oh, and other thing that Greece has in large quantities are motos. Lots of motorbikes. LOTS. TONS.

Anywaaaaay, I discovered in Greece my favourite dessert: the kafaiki with ice-cream. It is just difficult to explain what it is, but it's delicious
